Italy has taken the next step to transfer migrants to the Gjadra camp. According to Italian media, the navy ship 'Libra' departed a few minutes ago from Brindisi with 40 migrants on board, who are destined to be settled in Gjadra, the camp converted by decree of the Italian government into a CPR ( Detention Center for Repatriation ).
These are citizens of various nationalities, who arrived at the Brindisi CPR, in Restinco, in recent days and for whom the Italian government has arranged the transfer procedure to the facility built by them in Albania.
The decision came after the approval of the March 28 decree, which allows the transfer not only of asylum seekers caught at sea, but also of irregular migrants to whom the police commissioner has served the deportation decree and a judge has certified their stay in a CPR. (A2 Televizion)
