Today at 09:00, the Special Court of Appeal examines the appeal made by former Prime Minister Sali Berisha, against the decision of the First Instance, which assigned to him the security measure "obligation to appear" and "prohibition of exiting the country".
In the same session, the appeal of his son-in-law, Jamarbër Malltezi, against the measure "arrest in prison" is examined.
The measures against Berisha and Malltez, under investigation by SPAK as persons suspected of "corruption", have been set on account of the issue of privatization of the former sports complex "Partizani".
While at 10:00, former Prime Minister Berisha has an obligation to appear at SPAK, in accordance with the security measure against him, according to which he must appear at the prosecutor's office on the first and third Monday of every month.
Berisha's lawyer, Gent Gjokutaj, and Malltez's legal representative, Antoneta Sevdari, have just arrived at the court. (A2 Televizion)
