Minister of Health Albana Koçiu has signed with her Israeli counterpart the Joint Declaration for a stronger partnership in healthcare and the exchange of experiences in medicine. The minister herself announced the news on social media. According to her, during the meeting, we discussed the challenges of the healthcare system and the opportunities for strengthening cooperation between the two countries, as well as the specialization of our doctors at Israeli hospital centers.
“With the Minister of Health of Israel, Mr. Uriel Buso, we signed the Joint Declaration between the Ministry of Health of the State of Israel and the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Albania, paving the way for a stronger partnership in healthcare and the exchange of experiences in medicine.
"During the meeting, we discussed the challenges of the healthcare system and the opportunities for strengthening cooperation between the two countries, with a special focus on specialization for our doctors at Israeli hospital centers, as well as the partnership with Sheba Medical Center," writes Koçiu.
