On the Vlora bypass, one of the country's main arteries that connects and shortens travel time to the entire Albanian Riviera, the final works are being carried out to fully complete this infrastructure work.
The works are mainly concentrated between kilometers 10 and 15 and are being carried out in accordance with all rules and legislation in force, both for the works and for safety measures and warnings to drivers about the temporary closure of this bypass.
"At the entrance to the city of Vlora, at the roundabout that connects the Trans-Balkan road and the Vlora highway with this major work, there is also a sign that signals all drivers about the works and the temporary blockage of this road segment.
Even at the entrance to the national axis, at the Pusit i Mezin roundabout, at the entrance to the Vlora bypass, another yellow sign indicates to vehicle drivers that the road segment is temporarily closed and they should be careful while driving on it, as works are also being carried out.
Also, at the roundabout that connects the Vlora River road, the villages of Vlora, with the coastal city and Kanina, there is another sign signaling the works along the Vlora bypass.
"There is also no shortage of warning signs in the village of Kaninë. Behind me is another sign indicating that after 500 meters the road will be blocked," said A2 CNN journalist Edi Ruçi.
Managers of the implementing company for the construction of this Gener 2 infrastructure work, announce that the bypass will be open to traffic normally according to all the best road standards, on April 10 of this year.
