The Prefecture of Fier district, together with other institutions, have implemented the legal provisions regarding preparations for the May 11 election process, both by determining voting and counting centers for all municipalities and administrative units, and by posting the voter list in visible and accessible places for the entire population of the district.
According to these lists, there are 353,185 residents in the Fier region and 32,466 registered to vote from the diaspora.
Referring to this data, the prefect of the Fier district states that we have an increase in the number of voters and that he predicts a peaceful electoral process as befits the Fier district.
"I think that with the voters who have registered from the Diaspora, there is no decrease. There is extraordinary interest. Over 32 thousand have been registered for the Fier region and statistics show an increase in the number of registered voters. The population of the Fier region is among the most educated, most hardworking, most educated, and the word "hot region" does not fit the Fier region," Arben Çuko told A2 CNN.
