The celebration of Easter is celebrated all over the world. In our southern neighbor, Albanians and Greeks have come together. In Athens, citizens celebrating Easter are seen everywhere – in the squares and on the streets.
At the entrance of the church, quite a few visitors and tourists are seen, who show interest in taking photos. The tradition of this holiday for Christians and Orthodox is the roasting of lamb. In Athens, this living thing had come from Albania.
But where, according to them, do the cultures of our two countries meet? "This is a holiday of great religious importance for us. Roasting lamb is an annual tradition throughout Greece, not just here where we are - in the middle of the Acropolis. But the important thing is that we celebrate together, enjoy and have a good time together. I would really like to be like the Albanians, for everything they do," says a Greek citizen.
