Eni Vasili will be the General Director of Radio Television Albania. The renowned journalist and moderator was elected in the second round of voting by the RTSH Board of Directors, receiving seven votes.
The mandate of the Director General of RTSH is 5 years. The first vote to elect the Director General of RTSH was held yesterday, but none of the candidates managed to receive the necessary votes to be elected at the head of the institution.
The second vote took place this Friday, where the three most voted candidates from the first process, Eni Vasili, Xhoi Jakaj and Engjëll Musai, were in the race.
Eni Vasili resulted in the highest voter turnout among them, receiving 3/5 of the votes needed to be elected Director General. (A2 Televizion)
