At the conclusion of three important events in our country from the Giro d'Italia, to the electoral process and today's summit of EU leaders in Tirana, the Director General of the State Police, Ilir Proda, has thanked the officers and citizens. Through a message distributed to the media, Proda emphasizes that Albania was represented worthily before international partners and guaranteed the development of the 3 major events in a safe, calm and professional manner.
"Honorable State Police officers, I would like to express my deepest gratitude and maximum appreciation for your tireless commitment, professionalism and dedication shown in successfully facing some of the most important events for our country. Your commitment to guaranteeing order and security during the electoral process, the international race "Giro d'Italia" and in particular during the development of the European Political Community Summit, once again demonstrated the high level of preparation, seriousness and integrity with which each of you serves the country and its citizens. Thanks to your dedication and close institutional cooperation, Albania was worthily represented before international partners and guaranteed the development of 3 major events in a safe, calm and professional manner."
Proda also expressed special appreciation for the leadership structures at every level for the effective coordination and management of complex situations. According to Proda, this success is the result of joint work and dedication to the mission of protecting order and security.
"This result is the fruit of a joint effort, built on professionalism, trust and continuous commitment to the mission we have towards the citizens and the country. The Police Chief concludes his message by congratulating citizens for the understanding and citizenship shown, in the interest of general security.
