The mosaic of the Paleochristian Basilica in the village of Lin, Pogradec, is now open to visitors. Prime Minister Edi Rama shared the news on social media this morning, posting a picture of the mosaic.
"Good morning and with the mosaic of the Paleochristian Basilica in the wonderful village of Lin, now open to visitors, another precious treasure of our cultural heritage that brings to light the antiquity, art and history of this fascinating area, I wish you a good day," Rama writes.
We recall that a few days ago on the shores of the lake in Lin, Pogradec, Albanian archaeologists and those from the University of Bern in Switzerland discovered the earliest palafit settlement dating back 8,500 years, or 6,000 years BC. (A2 Televizion)
