The Interreligious Council of Albania has expressed its condolences for the Archbishop of the Orthodox Church of Albania, Anastasj Janullatos, who passed away on the morning of Saturday, January 25, 2025.

He was hospitalized at the “Evangelismos” Hospital in Athens, as a result of the insufficient functioning of many organs. Previously, he had been treated for several days at the “Hygeia” Hospital in Tirana.
