"Kurti and Rama have their sins", Xhufi: you cannot subject the national issue to personal feelings

"Kurti and Rama have their sins in their mutual behavior." This is what the historian Pëllumb Xhufi expressed in the Debate studio with Alba Alishani on A2 CNN, about the relationship between the two leaders. He accused Prime Minister Rama of hasty decision-making that affects Kosovo, but without denying the positive initiatives, such as the joint meetings of the government.

"Egocentrism belongs to individuals and it seems to me that they give a lot of weight to themselves and in general this is noticed. Both have their sins in mutual behavior. Even Mr. Kurti, and more so Mr. Rama, who represents a consolidated state, even from his age and experience should have been more trained in the sport of politics, has made hasty decisions that affected Kosovo as well. He also made good initiatives to bring together the two governments, twice a year."

According to him, the situation created between the two leaders is comical, since you cannot subject the national issue to personal feelings.

"It has reached such a state that it is even comical. That it does not happen abroad that politicians are so complacent among themselves, that you subordinate the national issue to personal feelings. And this has reduced the value of both of them as political figures, this behavior in relation to the national issue. Even today we did not see a conciliatory gesture".

The division on Flag Day and politics in our country, for the pigeon historian Xhufi, disappoints the hopes of Albanians.

"These are the sins of politics, not of the people who expect politics. The political class was expected to unite around flag day. There is no Albanian who does not know this date".
