Journalist Elkier Bushkola has stated that a construction boom is expected in Vlora during this period.
Bushkola made the comments on the 'Off the Record' show with journalist Andrea Danglli on A2 CNN, where he said that a square meter of construction could cost 10 thousand euros.
He also said that the conflicts that occurred in the Municipality of Vlora occurred because of these expected developments, with the aim of Prime Minister Rama taking full control of this municipality and not having any opposition.
"The concrete example is Vlora. We do not have a politically strong mayor, when we remember that at the head of the Municipality we had Shpëtim Gjika, who in 2007 won very strong electoral battles when the DP was at its zenith. Today we have Ermal Dredha. Vlora is expected to have a major construction boom due to developments on the island of Sazan.
It would not be surprising if a square meter goes up to 10 thousand euros due to many factors. Among other things, above all, you are in the international market. We are talking about the coastline, because the coastline is in the international market.
"Because it starts in Croatia, in Montenegro and I believe that there will be a very big development. And I believe that all these conflicts that are happening in the Municipality of Vlora are happening for this fact, to take the Municipality of Vlora under management, so that there is no opposition to any decision that will be made," Bushkola said, among other things.
