Citizens were more convinced by the deep result of the parliamentary elections of May 11. In the regions of Elbasan and Fier, where the Socialist Party significantly deepened the result, citizens say that they do not feel as surprised as the political leaders of the Socialist Party in these regions.
The regions of Elbasan and Fier produced results in the parliamentary elections of May 11 that surprised even the winning political force, the Socialist Party.
Of the 14 mandates that the Elbasan district issued, 10 were won by the Socialist Party and only 4 by the opposition. While in Fier, the Socialists' victory was even deeper, 12 to 4. While the SP political leaders in these districts did not hide their surprise at this result, it seems that the citizens were more convinced.
In Elbasan, after the elections, citizens say that the result was expected, while some do not want to comment. A minority believes that the result should not have been so profound.
Even in Fier, citizens say they were convinced of the victory of the Socialist Party, but almost everyone says they did not expect such a profound result.
A people that surprises itself and its representatives in politics, or the electoral system in Albania exceeded the expectations of even the winners themselves... this remains to be seen. (A2 Televizion)
