Albanian immigrants, after celebrating Easter with their families, are returning to their workplaces today.
The large flow of exits from Albania towards the neighboring country, as well as the work with reduced counters on the Greek side, has led to a queue that stretches up to 3 kilometers, near the village of Kapshtica, queues that have appeared for the first time in many years, writes A2 CNN.
Albanian citizens report having to queue for up to two hours to cross the border.
Under such conditions, our border police authorities have had several meetings with the Greek border police, firstly to increase the number of counters and secondly to work with an accelerated procedure for those citizens who are equipped with Greek documents, with the aim of simplifying procedures upon entry into the neighboring country.
During the Easter holidays, more than 40,000 citizens entered Albania from Greece. (A2 Televizion)
