Cardiovascular problems are the leading cause of morbidity and mortality in the Albanian population. Lifestyle and malnutrition are threatening heart disease even at a young age.
Unlike in the past, today cardiologists are dealing with heart attacks even in 30-year-olds. To avoid becoming a cardiac patient, doctors especially advise young people to eat healthy, live a smoke-free life, and be physically active.
Cardiologist Mimoza Lezha emphasizes that even participation in sports activities by young people or children should be accompanied by heart health checks.
In recent months, there has been no shortage of cardiological emergencies, even among young people, where there have been deaths due to heart attacks. (A2 Televizion)
