Heavy rain, strong wind and snow with a thickness of about 50 centimeters are expected in Albania today.

It was meteorologist Tanja Porja who told A2 CNN how the atmospheric situation will be during today's day in the country.

Porja said that due to the heavy rainfall, which will also be in the form of torrential rains, there will be flooding in the western areas of the country.

She said that strong wind and a significant drop in temperatures are expected in the evening, writes A2 CNN.

"Today will be in critical weather conditions. Heavy rainfall and heavy snowfall. The precipitation decreases this evening, but the temperatures drop significantly. There is a risk of flooding today, due to heavy rains, mainly in the western areas of the country, including the capital.

Temperatures will fluctuate from -4 to no more than 12 degrees. We will have intense rain showers from 11 a.m. to 4 or 5 p.m. Snow intensity will be high in mountainous areas, 40-50 centimeters. We will also have a strong wind in the evening and the waves will be 5 knots in the sea", said Porja. (A2 Televizion)
