An apartment on the seventh floor of a multi-story building was engulfed in flames this morning in the "29 Nëntori" neighborhood in Fier.
Immediately alarmed, neighbors notified the fire department, which immediately arrived at the scene, but the narrow road made it difficult for firefighters to intervene.
Preliminary sources tell A2 CNN that the homeowners left the house 30 minutes before it caught fire. Before leaving for work, they are suspected of having forgotten the stove on. The fire reportedly burned down the living room furniture. (A2 Televizion)
