Albania, North Macedonia and Montenegro have undertaken a joint initiative to combat informality in the labor market, marking an important step towards creating a safer environment in line with European standards.
At a regional meeting held in Tirana, with the support of the German government through GIZ, representatives from the labor inspectorates of the three countries gathered to exchange experiences and harmonize concrete actions aimed at improving working conditions and reducing informality.
This cooperation focuses on managing regular cross-border migration, adopting European best practices, as well as developing joint inspections and coordinated actions against labor rights violations.
In addition, the initiatives strongly promote decent and safe work across the region, reinforcing a more sustainable and fair labor climate, writes A2 CNN.
