The General Directorate of Industrial Property and the Albanian Council for Technology and Innovation signed a cooperation agreement that aims to raise awareness and provide support to Albanian businesses in terms of industrial property protection and technological development.
This partnership comes in response to the growing need of enterprises to protect their intellectual assets and turn innovation into tangible value in the market, writes A2.
The agreement includes a series of concrete commitments that are expected to have a direct impact on Albanian enterprises, such as providing legal and technical consultancy to all businesses seeking to register or protect their industrial property, developing professional training for ACTI members to strengthen human capacities in the field of technology and intellectual property, as well as organizing discussion tables and workshops that address practical topics on trademarks, patents and technological innovations.
Another important aspect of this agreement is the commitment to develop joint projects aimed at raising awareness, especially among small and medium-sized enterprises, of the importance of protecting their property rights and how these rights can be transformed into competitive advantages in the domestic and international market.
The parties have pledged to guarantee full transparency in any joint activity to promote information accurately and to maintain the confidentiality of the businesses they will work with, turning this cooperation into a sustainable and reliable model for the technological and economic development of the country.
