The Council of Ministers approved today the national program of work practices in the state administration and public institutions for young professionals, with the aim of gaining professional experience and developing skills in the administrative system.
The program aims to include young people between the ages of 21 and 29, graduates of the first or second cycle of higher education, who have not previously been part of the program and who have not previously worked in public administration.
The program consists of a 3-month internship period and a 1-year employment period with a contract, which are known as work experience during recruitment, writes A2 CNN.
During the internship, young people receive financial compensation of 500 lek per day and training at the Albanian School of Public Administration (ASPA).
Participating institutions are required to appoint contact persons and supervisors for the interns, while up to 250 interns are selected for contractual employment in state administration and public institutions.
The management and coordination of the program is carried out by the ministry responsible for youth, while the National Youth Agency provides funds for financial compensation and training payments.
This program aims to integrate young professionals into the civil service and strengthen the capacities of the Albanian public administration. (A2 Televizion)
