The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, through a post on social networks, announces that three Albanian citizens have lost their lives in a serious road accident, recorded this Sunday in Germany.
According to the MEPJ announcement, as a result of the accident, four Albanians were also injured and are receiving medical treatment.
"The Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs has been informed by the German authorities about a serious road accident that occurred in the early hours of the morning of May 25, near the city of Koblenz, involving several Albanian citizens. We regret to announce that as a result of this accident, three Albanian citizens have lost their lives, while four others have been injured and are receiving treatment in local hospitals," the statement said.
Meanwhile, it is further clarified that the Embassy of the Republic of Albania in Berlin and the Consulate General in Munich have been in constant contact with the German authorities and have closely followed developments.
Investigations into the circumstances of the accident are still ongoing, while the Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs expresses its condolences to the families of the victims and wishes a full recovery to the injured. (A2 Televizion)
