The Fier Prosecutor's Office has sent to court the citizen with the initials AR, who is accused of having exercised violence against his wife, as well as having mistreated and sexually harassed her minor daughter from her first marriage.
A citizen with the initials AR has been sent for trial by the Fier prosecutor's office, accused of having exercised violence against his wife, as well as having mistreated and sexually harassed her minor daughter from her first marriage.
The prosecution claims that it has been proven that the head of the family has, at various times, exercised physical and psychological violence against his wife and has committed active actions against the minor with the initials R.Ç. (the child that the citizen with the initials BR had from her first marriage), which consist of her continued mistreatment and have advanced to actions that are in the nature of sexual harassment of her.

The Prosecutor's Office at the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction in Fier has completed the investigations and is sending citizen AR to trial for the criminal offense of 'Sexual Harassment' and 'Ill-treatment of a Minor' provided for in articles 130/a/4, 108/a/2 and 124/b/1 of the Criminal Code.
The investigations within the framework of criminal proceedings no. 1755 of 2024, began after the examination of the request of citizen BR against her husband at the Court of First Instance of General Jurisdiction in Fier with the aim of issuing a protection order. In conclusion, the judge of the case assessed that the facts referred to by this citizen contain elements of a criminal offense and for this reason made the appropriate referral to the prosecutor's office.
After administering the relevant referral, the prosecution, in cooperation with the judicial police, managed to prove that at different periods, citizen AR has exercised physical and psychological violence against his wife and has committed active actions against the minor R.Ç. (the child that citizen AR had from her first marriage), which consist of her continued mistreatment and have advanced to actions that are in the nature of sexual harassment of her.
After carrying out full investigative actions, the Prosecutor's Office at the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction in Fier has sent for trial the criminal request against citizen AR for the criminal offense of "Domestic violence" to the detriment of citizen BR, "Sexual harassment" and "Ill-treatment of a minor" to the detriment of minor R.Ç, provided for by articles 130/a/4, 108/a/2 and 124/b/1 of the Criminal Code.
"Furthermore, the Prosecutor's Office at the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction in Fier expresses its full commitment to the prompt investigation and legal accountability of persons who commit criminal acts of domestic violence, in order to prevent more serious events in the future that violate the morality and dignity of citizens," the Prosecutor's Office announces.
