The Fier Prosecutor's Office is sending Ilir Nukaj for trial, who was investigated with a prison sentence, after he barbarically raped an elderly couple, one of whom died. The incident took place in October last year in Dërmenas, Fier.

The Prosecutor's Office at the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction in Fier completed the investigations and is sending citizen IN to trial for the criminal offense of 'Intentional serious injury' resulting in death, to the detriment of victim NR, and for the criminal offense of 'Intentional minor injury' to the detriment of victim AR, provided for in articles 88/2 and 89 of the Criminal Code.
From the investigations conducted within the framework of criminal proceedings no. 1591, of 2024, it resulted that on 12.10.2024, in the village of “Hoxhare e Re” (Povelçë), Administrative Unit of Dërmenas, Municipality of Fier, citizen IN, for weak motives, exercised physical violence against the elderly NR and AR (spouses), where as a result of the violence exerted, one of them, citizen NR, died.
The criminal case is sent for trial in charge of citizen IN, investigated with the security measure "Arrest in prison".
