Daut Laze is the most wanted person by the police over the last three days, after he spectacularly escaped from the Shenkoll prison in Lezha, where prisoners with mental health problems have been relocated.
Despite the checks, the 49-year-old, considered a high social risk, has not been found. In exchange for any information leading to the fugitive, a reward of 10 thousand euros has been offered since the first day.
According to sources, it is learned that the checks were mainly focused on uninhabited buildings, mosques, or his relatives in Tirana where he lived or in Çorovodë where he was born.
After his escape, three Shënkoll prison employees were arrested for abuse of office. According to sources, prison employees claimed that Daut Laze stayed alone and did not socialize with anyone, and on several occasions he had even asked them to stay alone in his cell. (A2 Televizion)
