In a session that ended with strong tensions, where lawyers claimed that they were threatened in the courtroom by the repentant justice minister, Nuredin Dumani continued to testify in the "Golden Bullet" trial at the Special Court, details of his assassinations and criminal plans with prominent names in the underworld.
Dumani said the assassination attempt on businessman Lulëzim Masha, where the latter was only injured, in January 2022 near the artificial lake in Tirana, was an order from Suel Çela and that he had promised the defendant Henrik Hoxhaj 150 thousand euros for the crime.
"Suel Çela left me the order for Lulëzim Masha. He told me he had it for others," said the repentant Dumani.
Defendant Hoxhaj reacted from the courtroom, claiming that the real target had been businessman Masha's son.
"We took photos for his son, said Hoxhaj, but he was not coming, because he was in Macedonia. The son could have come with 200 thousand euros with him. These were extras, which we would share with each other in addition to the order of 150 thousand euros. We waited a few months, he continued, and in the absence of the son, we thought of killing the father, so that the son would then come for the funeral."
Nuredin Dumani also told about a planned meeting with Behar Bajri, where he had not gone personally, but had sent two other boys, because according to him, "there he would eat the collar" .
"They met in a field. There were several of them, armed. They were surprised that I wasn't there. I spoke on the phone with Behar Bajri, even with a little tension. He asked me to hit Dorian Duli, Genci Tafili and others. I put a price of 1.5 million euros on him," said the repentant man.
Dumani added that Bajri had asked Talo Çela. "I told him to find out where he was, because he told me I have information," said the justice associate.
But Thursday's hearing took a different turn when the defendant's lawyer Besian Xhixha claimed that he was threatened by the defendant. Lawyer Ilirjan Dyzeni left the hearing, saying loudly: "I will not tolerate someone threatening me in the courtroom and the prosecutor not reacting. He cannot put pressure on me. I will not hear him say to me, 'put you on the list, you are on offer . '"
The court ordered the police officers to remove the defendant from the courtroom and adjourned the hearing for a few minutes. When the hearing resumed, the lawyers requested an adjournment of the hearing, claiming that the Bar Association would take a position. They requested that the court take action, as according to them, this was a repeated behavior of the defendant. After drawing the attention of the defendant, as well as the lawyers and the prosecutor, to his restraint, the court adjourned the hearing to April 22. (A2 Televizion)
