Another protest was held today for the murder of 14-year-old Martin Cani 2 months ago in Tirana.
The incident occurred near the Fan Noli school in the capital, after a conflict that Cani and his friend had with their peers.
In the ongoing conflict, minor Mario Përlleshaj is suspected of stabbing 14-year-old Cani, leaving him dead.
After paying homage at the scene of the incident, Can's parents spoke to the media, stating that the institutions are not responsible for the progress of the investigation into the murder.
"We have been experiencing this great drama for two months and we have not had any reaction from the institutions. I call on all parents to unite, because children are above everything. We are not sleeping, we are experiencing a tragic event, we have a very big trauma. We are afraid, I call on the institutions to listen to us. Silence kills," said Martin Can's father.
The mother of the deceased 14-year-old also stated the same thing, saying that she only wants justice. She also added that no institution has contacted them about the progress of the investigation.
"I only want justice. No one has contacted me. I have made my messages public and I only want justice," said Can's mother. (A2 Televizion)
