A serious incident occurred in Lushnja, where a woman lost her life shortly after receiving an injection at the neighborhood ambulance.
The news was announced by the Police through a statement, which states that the elderly woman is suspected of suffering a reaction after the injection she received, writes A2 CNN.
It remains unknown what caused the reaction and the final results of the forensic examination are awaited, as to whether the cause of her death was the wrong injection and medication, or other factors.
Meanwhile, the procedural materials were referred to the Prosecutor's Office at the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction in Fier, for further action.
"The 78-year-old woman was taken to the Lushnja hospital, but despite medical assistance, she lost her life. Work is underway to determine the cause of death," the Police statement read, among other things. (A2 Televizion)
