The most wanted person in Albanian justice, Florenc Çapja, has arrived at Rinas Airport, with the Albanian police having thus finalized the operation of his extradition from the United Arab Emirates.
The plane carrying the 44-year-old arrived at the "Mother Teresa" International Airport at around 5:00 p.m. this Friday. He was escorted by the operational forces of the General Directorate of Prisons, who took Çapaj into custody.
Florenc Çapja, a well-known name in the criminal world in Albania, returns to his homeland after about 8 years of residence in Dubai, where he remained undisturbed, in the absence of an extradition agreement between the two countries.
He is accused by SPAK of ordering the murder of Nezir and Gentian Beqiri in Elbasan in 2012. For this crime, Çapja has been sentenced to life imprisonment and will serve his sentence in a high-security prison in Albania.
Florenc Çapja is the nephew of Ardian Çapja, who has clashed with Suel Çela's group. The Çapja criminal group has been involved in criminal activities that extend beyond Albania's borders, including assassination orders and other illegal activities in the world of narcotics. (A2 Televizion)
