The head of the DP parliamentary group, Gazmend Bardhi, has been sued again at the Special Court against Corruption and Organized Crime for "defamation" and "insult".
According to sources for A2 CNN, it is reported that the deputy has been sued by the Albanian Electric Power Corporation (KESH) JSC.
The draw has assigned Judge Etleva Deda to hear the case, while the dates for the court hearings are expected to be determined, writes A2 CNN.
Meanwhile, the Special Court previously declared Bardhi innocent, accused of "publicly committed defamation."
Bardhi was sued for defamation by OSHEE in relation to a statement made on October 18 of last year stating that OSHEE had manipulated the percentage of electricity losses in the network, writes A2 CNN.
For this statement, the leader of the DP group also filed a criminal report with SPAK on suspicion of abuse of office. (A2 Televizion)
