Dozens of Erion Veliaj's supporters have gathered near the GJKKO, where the verification of the security measures for the mayor of Tirana is expected at around 08:30.
At around 8:15, his wife, Ajola Xoxa, arrived before the Special Court and was placed under house arrest.
Veliaj is accused of corruption and money laundering, while Xoxa is accused of corruption, money laundering and concealment of assets.
According to the accusation filed by SPAK, Veliaj allegedly created a corrupt scheme between his wife's companies and 6 businessmen close to him. (A2 Televizion)
