A 27-year-old man has been arrested by police after he is accused of threatening a 33-year-old man after he posted several photos on TikTok and demanded money to delete them.
"A 33-year-old man was threatened to give them 1,000 euros to delete photos/writings about his private life from the social network "Tik Tok", 1 citizen was arrested and another was criminally prosecuted.
A 21-year-old man is also banned for the same offense, which occurred in March 2024.
The Property Crimes Investigation Section at the Tirana Local Police Directorate, in continuation of its work to crack down on illegalities in every form of their manifestation, has organized and finalized the police operation codenamed "Imazhi".
As a result of the operation, citizen FT, 27 years old, was arrested, and citizen LM, 25 years old, was criminally prosecuted, after they, in collaboration with each other, threatened a 33-year-old man for giving him the sum of 1,000 euros to delete some photos/writings of his private life from the social network "Tik Tok".
Also within the framework of the "Image" operation, citizen LH, 21 years old, was detained for coercion by threatening to give up property, which occurred on 14.03.2024, based on a report made by a citizen.
"The procedural materials were referred to the Tirana Prosecutor's Office for further action," the police said. (A2 Televizion)
