A burned-out car has been found near Gërdec, suspected to belong to the perpetrators of the Durrës incident, where 29-year-old Ermir Dedja was killed. A2 CNN learns that the weapon suspected of being used in the murder was found inside the completely burned-out vehicle.
The incident occurred after midnight in neighborhood 18 of Durrës, where 29-year-old Ermir Dedja was shot and died in hospital as a result of his injuries.
It is learned that the incident occurred near the neighborhood health center, where the victim was walking, wearing a sports suit. Masked individuals took advantage of the moment he was walking on the sidewalk of a building and shot him with an automatic weapon from behind, in the shoulder area, according to sources.
The victim was a well-known name to the police after being involved in an injury in Shijak in 2017, where he helped the perpetrator, and in 2015 he was arrested in Morina with drugs.

Following the checks and investigative actions being carried out by the special investigative group, under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office, in order to clarify the circumstances of the incident that occurred on 20.05.2025, at around 00:50, in neighborhood no. 18, where it is suspected that citizen ED, 29 years old, was killed with a firearm, the Durrës Police services, in cooperation with the Tirana Police services, have found in the village of Gërdec, a burned vehicle and a firearm inside it, which are suspected to have been used by the perpetrators of this incident.
