To solve the assassination attempt in Lundë, where four people were injured, two of whom were minors, the investigative team had to return to the scene several times to obtain new evidence.
A2 CNN learns that in the area where the perpetrators are suspected of hiding while waiting for the Mercedes Benz G Class vehicle, several personal items believed to belong to the perpetrators have been recovered. These items, including a plastic bottle, have been sent to the laboratory for examination and it will be seen whether they will yield valuable DNA data that could lead to the identification of the attackers.
Sources from the investigation team tell A2 CNN that the perpetrators stayed hidden among some bushes for a very short time, after they had also damaged a metal fence.
The police and the prosecution have not yet substantiated the suspicions whether the target was mistaken or not in this assassination. From the first suspicions, investigators suspect that the target in the assassination was Roan Brahimi's wife, because the vehicle she was using was similar in both type and license plate, where a single letter was different.
Meanwhile, as a second line of investigation, they are investigating possible conflicts that the families of the injured may have with other people.
