Illegal construction in Gjirokastra, security measures given for the builder and the expert. Hotel seized

The Gjirokastra Prosecutor's Office has taken security measures against two people suspected of illegal construction. Citizen Roland Skendo, suspected of building an illegal hotel in the "18 Shtatori" neighborhood, has been placed under "Prison Arrest" for the criminal offense of "Illegal Construction". Meanwhile, expert Arjan Dani has been placed under "House Arrest" for "False Expertise". The latter is suspected of having compiled an expert report to defend the illegal construction as internal works.

The prosecution has also imposed a preventive seizure on the property, a hotel owned by Roland Skendo, with an area of ​​247 m².

Investigations have revealed that, despite the decision of the Gjirokastra Municipality to suspend the works, Roland Skendo continued with the construction. It is suspected that he influenced expert Arjan Dani to justify his actions with a false expert report. (A2 Televizion)
