Klodiana Rakipaj, the cohabitant of 58-year-old Renato Hoxhaj, who was killed on Sunday morning in Vlora, revealed details of the serious incident to A2 CNN.
She says she was in the apartment with the 58-year-old before he was killed and that the incident occurred about 5 minutes after he told her he was going out for coffee near his work.
"I was inside the house, I don't know. I couldn't imagine it, and I told him to stay seated for an hour. Stay seated, don't leave now. No, he told me, I'll leave. I'll go out. He was going to drink coffee at work. The moment he left, I took my work clothes and got dressed. 5 minutes after he left, I came out. Yes, I heard shots like that and I thought they were fireworks. I only saw the one who was lying down. He was lifeless, everything was over. I screamed louder, I screamed. I screamed and screamed, no one came until I sat down then I called the police. The police came then, they took action," Rakipaj recounts.
Asked if Renato Hoxhaj had any conflicts or problems with his ex-wife and children, she replied: " I don't know. I don't know that. No, not at all. I don't know these things ."
But, Rakipaj reveals that a few moments before the incident, the victim remained silent and did not speak much.
"No, he wasn't scared, but he was lying down. I told him, 'What's wrong with you, you're not talking, '" she says.
The deceased's roommate says she was left terrified by the incident and that she cannot return to live in the apartment owned by the 58-year-old after the scene she witnessed. (A2 Televizion)
