After more than 7 hours, the Special Appeal has not issued a decision for Erion Veliaj. The Mayor of Tirana, along with 4 other businessmen in his case, had requested the replacement of the security measure.
The court decided to postpone the session to Wednesday at 12:30. It is learned that the lawyers will be familiarized with the new evidence presented by SPAK.
Veliaj has been in custody in Durrës for more than a month, on charges of corruption and money laundering.
The court did not accept the American lawyer, who had previously stated that he had come with observer status. (A2 Televizion)
