"The services of the Shijak Police Commissariat, after receiving notification that a fire had broken out in a plot of olive and fruit trees in the village of Koxhas-Fushë, immediately reacted to identify and capture the perpetrator.
As a result of rapid investigative and operational actions, it was possible to identify, capture and arrest in flagrante delicto the suspected arsonist, citizen SL, 50 years old, who was caught near the plot, while the fire was still active.
The preliminary investigation shows that 2 acres of arable land, owned by citizen DG, as well as 169 olive trees and Paulownia trees, were burned, causing significant material damage.
The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office at the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction of Durrës, for further action, for the criminal offense of "Destruction of property by fire", the police announced. (A2 Televizion)
