Sadushi in the Dominican Republic: The rule of law must grow together with

"The rule of law is not static. It is a living principle that must grow together with society, science and technology ." This was stated by the President of the Supreme Court, Sokol Sadushi, during this year's Congress in the Dominican Republic.

He presented the Albanian experience in the transformation of the judiciary: from the re-evaluation of judges and strengthening the independence of the system, to the embrace of technology in the function of transparency, efficiency and citizens' access to justice. He brought to attention important decisions where the Supreme Court has shown readiness to face new challenges with high professional and constitutional standards.

He also emphasized the importance of digitalization as one of the main pillars of the reform, through: Case management systems, Platforms open to the public, Continuous communication with citizens through official channels and social networks.

Sadushi emphasized that in 2027, Tirana will welcome lawyers, academics, judges, and leaders from around the world.

"Albania is ready to share its experience and contribute to the vision of a modern and accessible global justice."

According to him, "the news that Albania will host the World Law Congress in 2027 is a major event for us and a clear assessment of the reform journey that our country has undertaken in recent years."
