A notary in the capital has been prosecuted after it was discovered that she had legalized the sale of the same apartment twice.
The Tirana police statement explains that the notary has drawn up two sales contracts for the same apartment.
"Specialists for the Investigation of Economic and Financial Crimes arrested the citizen declared wanted within the framework of the "Apartments" operation, MD, 57 years old, as it is suspected that, by abusing her position as a notary, she has drawn up 2 sales contracts for the same apartment," the police announced.
At the conclusion of the procedural actions, after consultation with the prosecutor, proceedings were initiated for the 57-year-old woman, who was released, for the criminal offense of "Abuse of Office". (A2 Televizion)
