Police have arrested an 18-year-old man who caused the fatal accident that occurred yesterday evening on the Korça-Pogradec road.
The Blue Uniforms explain that the arrest for this incident was communicated to the young man at the Trauma Hospital, where he is being treated with medical assistance.
Meanwhile, a 67-year-old man, who was riding a motorcycle, died at the scene.
"Following the preliminary information provided yesterday evening, regarding the accident that occurred on the "Korça-Pogradec" axis, we would like to inform you that following the procedural actions, the specialists of the Road Traffic Sector arrested in flagrante delicto the citizen EF, 18 years old, resident of Çaushli, Maliq, as it is suspected that while driving the motorcycle, he hit the citizen AS, 67 years old, resident of Veliterna, a pedestrian, who consequently lost his life. The 18-year-old is receiving medical assistance at the Trauma Hospital", the police announced.
