Today is the deadline to submit applications for the position of the new head of the National Bureau of Investigation.
According to sources for A2 CNN, it is reported that among the candidates is the former head of the State Police, Gledis Nano.
So far, a total of four candidates have presented themselves, including Gledis Nano. We recall that Nano served as head of the State Police for only 10 months, from October 2021 to August 2022.
Nano was dismissed by decision of the Council of Ministers on August 31, 2022, with the argument that he had not fulfilled the objectives of his position, and his place was taken by Muhamet Rrumbullaku.
Meanwhile, Aida Hajnaj, whose mandate ends on August 31 of this year, currently heads the BKH, writes A2 CNN.
We recall that the Candidacy Selection Committee consists of the head of SPAK, Altin Dumani, and special prosecutors Arben Kraja and Behar Dibra. (A2 Televizion)
