The Korça Court has suspended from duty 4 police officers detained three days ago at the Kapshtica border crossing point, as suspects in the criminal offense of abuse of office.
The prosecution, in today's session, requested the court to suspend the 4 police officers from duty, while calling their arrest legal.
According to their lawyer Nevzat Tarelli, the court has partially accepted the prosecution's request, leaving the suspension from duty in effect while calling the arrest of the 4 police officers illegal.
According to lawyer Tarrelli, all 4 police officers participated in the entire legal procedure of cooperation in solving the case and were very correct in their work, writes A2 CNN.
The court has remanded in custody indefinitely the driver of the vehicle VD, who is accused of trafficking narcotics and ammunition. (A2 Televizion)
