
A 55-year-old Albanian, identified as Edmond Zogo, has been put in handcuffs after it is suspected that he and three associates trafficked vehicles stolen in Italy and Germany to Albania.
Zogo and his three associates equipped the vehicles worth about 120,000 euros with false documents, in order to sell them in Albania. According to the officers, the three accomplices, Italian and Albanian citizens, have been identified and efforts are being made to arrest them.

As part of the operation, the citizen EZ, 55 years old, resident of Fier, was arrested, as well as the citizens A. Dh., 38 years old and EK, 43 years old, both residents of Berat, as well as the Italian citizen AM, were declared wanted. 51 years old. The investigation showed that these 4 citizens, in cooperation with each other, trafficked in Albania, stolen vehicles mainly in Italy and Germany. Also, that they interfered with the identification elements of the vehicles and submitted false documents for them, with the aim of selling them in our country.
As material evidence, 2 "Fiat" and "Iveco" type vehicles, produced in recent years, worth about 120,000 euros, were found and seized. The work for the capture of the 3 wanted citizens continues intensively, as well as in cooperation with the Fier Prosecutor's Office, investigations are being carried out to reveal and legally prove other cases of vehicle trafficking that these citizens may have committed.
