A 45-year-old man who was serving his sentence in Shënkolli prison, in Lezhë, died in the early hours of Monday.
In the announcement of the Directorate of Prisons, it is reported that Gëzim Beneshi's airways were blocked while eating breakfast. He was immediately helped by the medical staff of the prison, who sent him to the Lezha hospital with signs of life.
But unfortunately, the 45-year-old who was imprisoned after being sentenced for the charge of "attempted murder", died in the hospital.
