Shkodra police have arrested the American tourist, who the day before killed his wife. The incident took place in the apartment rented by the tourist couple and it is suspected that the crime was committed in a drunken state and for weak motives. 57-year-old Brandon Saportio stabbed his wife, Sandra Saporito, 54, to death in the "Vasil Shanto" neighborhood of the city of Shkodra.
