British justice authorities have reacted to SPAK's request to obtain the testimony of two people in Great Britain on behalf of the trial in Albania of those accused of the kidnapping and disappearance of Jan Prenga.

Through a letter of request, reported at Wednesday's session at the Special Court, the British side requested additional information regarding the question of Jan Prenga's brother, Astrit Prenga, and Gëzim Shullani.

"Before we review your request, we want to know the criminal status of the persons who will testify, details on the questions that will be given to them for explanations, the charges for which the witnesses should be questioned, how their testimony can serve in the SPAK investigation. The British police should be tasked with asking the questions that the Albanian authorities will make available to us," the letter stated.

The court asked SPAK prosecutors to specify the addresses of two witnesses wanted in the United Kingdom. (A2 Televizion)
