Will the DP undo the justice reform if it wins? Bylykbashi answers: People are not getting divorced

The deputy leader of the Democratic Party, Oerd Bylykbashi, has issued harsh criticism of the justice reform.

When asked if the DP would undo this reform, the DP official diplomatically replied that it would undo itself due to the impasse created with thousands of pending and unresolved files.

"This justice reform will undo itself. Do you know what they have done? Conduct a survey of all the lawyers in Albania, of those thousands of lawyers, of those 500 thousand people who are affected by 33 thousand files that are being held hostage, about what they think about the justice reform. The hell of justice here never ends. 66% of the cases are civil, there are still pending divorce cases, people cannot get divorced. A husband and wife separate, take them to appeal over the issue of alimony, and in the meantime, he has had a child with another partner and cannot get married," Bylykbashi said on Off the Record for Andrea Dangli.
