Arben Malaj, invited to the "Off the Record" studio by Andrea Danglli, on A2 CNN, spoke about his political ambitions, emphasizing that if the current government needs him, he is ready to serve the country.
"I have no direct ambitions for either MP or minister. I had the opportunity to serve my country in its deepest crisis. Now I am in supplementary retirement and write books. If the government needs an advisor, I serve because this is my country. But, I have no other ambitions," said Malaj.
"Let new generations be created, but we should not do what the Socialist Party did by dividing the generations: the old who had to leave and the young who had to be tested. Nancy Pelosi (in the US) is 94 years old. Even in Italy, senators are old... It is not age that makes you old, it is the decline in the power to serve the country. You can be young and lazy. Young people do not have the experience in decision-making, while those who have experience have speed in decision-making and logic.
