The Prime Minister of Montenegro, Dritan Abazovic, speaking at the Diaspora Summit, noted the successful journey of the Albanian people, not only in Albania, but wherever they live.
For this, he took Montenegro as an example, where he did not only refer to himself, but highlighted the fact that at the head of the country there, where until a few years ago this was not thought of, is a man who came precisely from the minority peoples .
"Something has happened in Montenegro that, until three years ago, no one could think of, and this is not only about the Albanians, but also about a minority people. One of the minority peoples has come to the head of the country and I don't have this for myself, but for the challenge of the Albanians, which we will have in the future.
The biggest challenge in life is to beat yourself and I think we are very close to it. We have shown that when we have confidence, we can do wonders. And this is what the Albanians have done.
Today, just remember what it was 10 or 20 years ago. I will not speak as a friend of the Prime Minister, but I want to say that today Albania speaks in the Security Council in front of the whole world and shows a moral and political lesson on how to create a peaceful, western and modern society.
The idea that I created and will continue to apply in Montenegro is that Albanians go with full self-confidence as citizens, as Europeans, ready to face everyone else. The idea is for our entire nation to be together in the European Union, because there is plenty of room there. To show that we, as an old, historical people, have our place there.
I am sure that this Diaspora Summit shows that a great challenge is being completed. I now believe that we have no more problems between us, and I am convinced that by the time the fourth summit comes, we will all be together. The big dream is for all Albanians to be in the European Union", said, among other things, in his speech the Prime Minister of Montenegro, Dritan Abazovic. (A2 Televizion)
