The Albanian Ambassador to the United States of America, Ervin Bushati, has stated that he has invited, on behalf of Prime Minister Edi Rama, the US Secretary of State, Marco Rubio, to visit Tirana.
Through a post on social media where he also posted a photo with Rubio, Bushati writes that Secretary Rubio has gladly accepted the invitation to visit Albania, reports A2 CNN.
Bushati also underlines that Albania is a miracle of American diplomacy, as according to him, from a country like North Korea, it has transformed into the most pro-American country in the world.

On behalf of CM RAMA, I invited him to visit Tirana; the Gateway to the Balkans for the US, for two reasons:
•Albania is also a miracle of American diplomacy??????????: from a communist dictatorship that was known as the "North Korea of Europe", today the most pro-American & pro-NATO country anywhere.
•I also invited him on behalf of a small nation, but with a big heart like Mother Teresa: our message tomorrow to the EU ???????? "more Love and more service with humility".
•Secretary Rubio accepted the invitation with pleasure - also in view of the very busy agenda of American Diplomacy today - to visit "a country that he values as a contributor to NATO, especially after his recent visit to The Hague."
